Paste the Sensation

And now we pause for a quick viral marketing scam. (Trust me, if it weren’t a worthy cause, it wouldn’t be happening.)

I am mad for Paste Magazine. It’s just about the densest journal of profoundly cool culture I’ve ever discovered. Not only does it pump out massively useful, cross-referenced recommendations for music, indie film, and books, but it also comes with a sampler CD and/or DVD in every issue. I got mine as a gift subscription and already can’t live without it.

If you’d like to try a free issue (with jam-slammed CD/DVD combo), send me your address before Friday (yes, tomorrow) to bigink [at] gmail [dot] com. This is the current issue (Flaming Lips on the cover) and it is packed—PACKED—with great music. If you subscribe, I get a free issue tacked onto my sub, but the real reason I mention it is because I think you might superdig it. So let me know.
